DuiLink: free page, prices and NFC FAQ
What does free Basic include?
Your page, QR code and all features stay free, with no expiry. You can edit every field and support the project with an optional contribution. No subscription or required payment.
Can I use my own NFC tags for free?
Yes. Save your DuiLink URL on a compatible, writable tag. On Android with NFC and compatible Chrome, use Write to NFC; on iPhone, use a compatible NFC writing app. You do not need to buy a DuiLink card.
How do I create a company template for my colleagues?
Share your logo, theme and selected fields to give employee pages a consistent look. This feature is free, and everyone keeps their own account and personal QR.
- Customize your MyPage with your logo, theme and company details.
- At the bottom of the page, find Your MyPage template and select Export template. Choose what to include and select Download template. Personal details, your photo and contact information are not selected by default: review the selections before exporting.
- Share the .duilink file with colleagues, for example by email.
- Each colleague signs in or creates their own account, opens MyPage and selects Import template. They choose the file, review the fields to import and select Apply in editor.
- Review the preview, complete personal details and select Save to apply the changes permanently.
Does changing my template automatically update my colleagues’ pages?
No. The file is a copy of selected settings, not a link between accounts. To distribute a new logo or theme, export a new template. Each colleague can import it, choose what to apply and save. Importing does not change their QR or artwork already engraved on a physical card. You can also keep the file as a backup of your settings.
Do I need a new QR code if I change my details?
No. Update your page: the same QR code and NFC link open it. Every field remains editable for free.
Where can I use my QR code?
On your phone, email signature, CV, badge, printed cards and signs. It opens your hosted DuiLink page while your account and the service remain active; it is not an offline copy of the page.
Do saved phone contacts update automatically?
No. A downloaded vCard is a snapshot. Visitors reopening your DuiLink page see your current details and can download an updated contact.
Do Standard and Custom require a subscription?
No. Their price includes Basic and all page editing options for the account associated with the order. No recurring payment is required for the included service. Replacement cards or a new engraving are separate purchases.
Can I give a card as a gift?
You can give an unactivated Standard card as a gift: the recipient scans the QR code and links it to their own account. There is no need to contact support. Basic is also free for the recipient. For a card already linked to an account, contact info@duilink.cc.
Can I write an NFC tag directly from DuiLink?
Yes, on Android devices compatible with Chrome/Web NFC: use Write to NFC in your DuiLink area or the NFC icon on the public page.
Can I write from iPhone browser?
No. NFC writing from browser on iPhone/iPad is not supported. Use a dedicated NFC app or ask someone with a compatible Android device.
Which format should I use?
Always use a URL/URI record with your DuiLink link.
Which tags are recommended?
NTAG213 is usually enough; NTAG215/216 are also compatible. Buy your tag wherever you want: search for "NTAG" on search engines.
What if it does not work?
- Check NFC is enabled.
- Rewrite as URL/URI.
- Make sure the tag is not locked.
- Avoid metal surfaces unless your tag is anti-metal.
